Another One Who Would Never Drive Again Under Five Strikes Law

While efforts are underway in Wisconsin to yank driving priveleges after a fifth time drunk driving conviction, one guy in La Crosse would likely qualify to never drive again.  Police pulled Maurice Reeves over on Friday afternoon, doing twice the speed limit down George street.  Had some drinks, but not as drunk as your typical multiple-drunk-driving-arrest driver; only blew a .07 back at the station.  But, because he’d been arrested for OWI four times in the past, he’s only allowed a .02.  Reeves now facing a felony.  Permanent revocation for five time drunks is still in the planning phase for lawmakers in Madison.
