Is That Flu Shot Working?

The Centers for Disease Control says 22 states are seeing high

levels of flu illness….. including Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin….up from 13 states a week earlier. Mayo Clinic Health Systems, Dr. Rog Palraj says the flu strain is one not covered to well by flu shots.

The Doctor said that because of this mismatch, the current flu vaccine will probably be about a third less effective than normal. But he advises you should still get the shot.
