Walker In La Crosse To Talk Tax Cuts

In La Crosse this morning, Governor Scott Walker detailed this year’s

property tax relief measures. In March, the governor and Legislature approved a cut of $141 for a typical homeowner part of a package that returned $1 billion dollar state budget surplus to taxpayers.

Walker and lawmakers cut about $2 billion dollars in taxes during his first four year term that’s about to end and he’s promising more cuts in his next state budget which he’ll unveil in a few weeks.
