Walker Gets Credit for Biz Friendly State

Wisconsin governor Walker is getting the credit for a massive jump in the business environment in the state.  CEO Magazine’s new results from its survey of best and worst states to do business finds Wisconsin at 14th best on the list.  That’s up from 41st just five years ago.  The survey says Walker’s push for a turnaround in tax policy in the state, including a recent half billion dollars worth of tax cuts, has helped turn Wisconsin into a pretty good place to do business.  Texas remains at the top of the list for business-friendly states.  Illinois, California and New York are at the bottom of the list.
