Cops Say Be Wary Of Faker

La Crosse Police have received several complaints about a woman

going around asking for gas money to help her get back to either Black River Falls or Tomah. The woman is often crying and asking for the gas money to help her get home to Tomah or Black River Falls, when in fact this woman lives on the north side of La Crosse. The car and person in the complaints has been identified, contacted and warned about asking for money under false pretenses and was made aware of the complaints.
