Gas Station Robber Sought

Video surveillance may prove key in solving a robbery in La Crosse on Thursday.

 

Police say the Clark station on Rose street was robbed at about three in the afternoon. A guy demanded money, pushed the store clerk out of the way, grabbed some cash and took off. Witnesses saw the guy run away. Police recovered a weapon at the scence and they say they’re reviewing surveillance video of the crime. In the meantime, cops are searching for a white male, approximately 5 7 and thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black stocking cap, sunglasses, dark colored pants and black shoes with white stripes. No work on how much cash the perp grabbed from the store.
