Wheels Keep Turning For La Crosse Promise
New details on the La Crosse Promise program were recently announced on how
it’s making education more accessible for La Crosse families. Jerilyn Dinsmoor says education past high school is very important.
She says the idea is with the promise of a scholarship to those that live in La Crosse, families will invest in their neighborhood by building their life, and their home there – and the city will invest in the family with a promise to pay for college. The hopes are for people to build here with plans of staying while their children go to La Crosse schools.
