Wrong Way Driver Busted

Driving the wrong way on the interstate is almost a dead giveaway that your

drunk. As was the case of a Camp Douglas man Monday morning around 3am.

 

Sparta police noticed a car parked along River Road. When they approached, 25 year old Noe Martinez Delgado started pulling away. Same car reportedly going the wrong way on I-90 earlier in the night.

 

Martinez Delgado was eventually pulled….failed several field sobriety tests and was arrested for OWI and second offense driving while suspended. A passenger in the car told police that they were coming from Tomah and had been driving in the wrong lane when they almost struck a semi prior to exiting in Sparta.
