La Crosse County Budget Approved
The La Crosse County Board approved a $161.3 million 2014 budget this morning. One large part of the budget being eliminated is the county home health service program. County Administrator, Steve O’Malley.
He says it was proposed as a way to hold the line on taxes. The budget passed 25-1 with Andrea Richmond casting the only no vote. County tax rate increases by 2.4%.
