Sparta Cops Get Two’fer

Sparta Police got a two’fer on a routine traffic stop Wednesday. 31 year old

Thomas Carpenter from Sparta was pulled over after he failed to follow a designated lane direction indicator. While talking with Carpenter, cops noticed a passenger appeared to be concealing her face by covering it with a sweatshirt. 32 year old Crystal McClendon also from Sparta, was wanted by the Department of Corrections and was arrested. She was also busted for having bath salts and drug paraphernalia.

 

Carpenter was arrested for 4th Offense Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Content and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
