Murder suspect arrested in La Crosse after police found person shot to death in Farnam Street house

A shooting death has led to the arrest of a La Crosse man.

Police found a shooting victim dead inside a house in the 1200 block of Farnam Street, near West Avenue, around 9 o’clock Thursday night.

Forty-one-year-old Alan Fry is suspected of 1st degree murder, and felony possession of a firearm.

Authorities believe an evening house fire in the 1600 block of Denton Street is related to the shooting.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
