New homicide charges filed against Fravel in Madeline Kingsbury’s death

The Winona area man accused of killing Madeline Kingsbury now has four counts of murder against him.

Adam Fravel is facing first-degree and second-degree homicide charges, filed this week by a grand jury.

Fravel had been charged only with second-degree murder after Kingsbury’s remains were discovered in Fillmore County back in June.

He appeared in Winona County court on the new charges Tuesday

A Winona judge increased Fravel’s bond to $3 million without conditions, or $2 million with conditions. Another hearing in the case is set for December 14th.

Kingsbury, the mother of their two young children, disappeared in March. Fravel was arrested after her remains were found.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. Brad been featured on several national TV programs because of his memory skills.
