Wisconsin state Sen. Brad Pfaff in the WIZM studio Monday for La Crosse Talk PM, discussing everything from the Derrick Van Orden outburst, and whether he’s going to run for US House, to childcare and healthcare costs, to his wanting to buy an old Ford Ranchero or Chevy El Camino.

La Crosse Talk PM airs weekdays at 5:06 p.m. Listen on the WIZM app, online here, or on 92.3 FM / 1410 AM / 106.7 FM (north of Onalaska). Find all the podcasts here or subscribe to La Crosse Talk PM wherever you get your podcasts.

Began the show talking about Pfaff’s past opponent for US House, Van Orden, and whether there is any excusing his actions. That led into a conversation about how Pfaff feels about either running for Van Orden’s job or trying to keep his seat in District 32 of the Wisconsin Senate.

After that we got into a lot of issues that affect everyone in the state, but seem to be at a stalemate again in Madison, including childcare funding, health insurance and prescription drug prices, and why those seem to be partisan issues, as the state continues to sit on a $3.5 billion budget surplus.

What is the Senator’s take on the Bidens’ having 170 Suspicious Activity Reports issued by banks to the Dept of Treasury?

Pfaff doesn’t seem to have a take on much of anything; listen to the guy for an hour and come away no better informed. It’s all mush and photo ops with Evers.
