Two vacant seats on the La Crosse County Board could be filled at Monday night’s meeting.

The board is being asked to appoint Pelli Lee and Leonardo Silva to replace board members who recently resigned.

County officials recently interviewed candidates for the two open seats, and have sent the nominations to the board.

Lee would serve in District 1 in north La Crosse, completing the last 14 months of Joe Konradt’s term.

Silva has been nominated to succeed Karen Keil in District 28.

The appointments would bring the county board back up to its usual 30 members. The next La Crosse County Board elections are in April of 2024, with all seats up for two-year terms at that time.
