Christmas is still a few weeks away, and you may have several chances to help people in need around the holidays.  One chance comes up this Saturday (December 3rd) at the Good Fight Community Center in La Crosse, at 118 6th Street N.

They’ll have a clothing and gift drive called “Christmas Coach,” where an MTU bus will be loaded with donations.  Assistant director Amanda Holmgaard at the Good Fight says they’re looking for pants, coats, boots, and other kinds of clothing, from small youth sizes to adult extra large.

There will also be snacks and entertainment at the event on North 6th Street near the cathedral, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
