Registered sex offender accused of old and new sexual assaults of juvenile
A La Crosse man faces decades of prison time, if he’s found guilty of sexually assaulting young children.
Forty-year-old Brendan Schieffer is charged with two felonies, for alleged sexual contact with a child he knows.
The female victim, who is under 16, says Schieffer assaulted her a few years ago, and then again last month, over Easter weekend.
Schieffer is registered in La Crosse County as a sex offender.
The two sexual assault charges could bring up to 100 years behind bars.

The city is letting this man walk freely until his trial NEXT APRIL. This is an issue!

We are now in January of 2024 and no further action has been taken. Each court appearance basically just states he has no public defender that is willing to represent him given the seriousness of his charges, which I don’t blame these public defenders, I wouldn’t want to represent him either. He has MULTIPLE other charges as well to include multiple domestic violence, bail jumping, felonies, defamation, etc. That’s not including all the times these victims were too scared to come forward. He also has sex offenses in Iowa to a very young minor over a lengthy period of time. This minor in the above case deserves justice, the offense took place in April of 2022. He took away a part of her that she can never forget or be unchanged. Being on house arrest is a privilege for him while his multiple victims, especially the most current child he sexually assaulted and molested has no justice and live in fear of him on the streets.
