Meeting Wed. for potential La Crosse School Board candidates

An informational meeting in regards to three openings on the La Crosse School Board will take place Wednesday evening.

The board is holding a virtual meeting at 5 p.m. in regards to the upcoming April 5 election.

The meeting will provide information on available positions on the board.

Residents who wish to attend need to RSVP through the superintendent’s office. That can be done by email: [email protected] or call 608.789.7659. The meeting link will then be provided.

School Board terms are three years long and would begin on April 25, 2022.

To get on the spring ballot, residents need the following:

  • Campaign Registration Statement
  • Declaration of Candidacy
  • Nomination papers must be filed no later than 5 p.m. , Jan. 4.

The first day to circulate nomination papers is Dec. 1.

Incumbents include Dawn Comeau, Juan Jimenez and Pelli Lee.
