Time to make your opinions known on how La Crosse County should spend millions of dollars in federal money.

The county has launched an online survey (click here) to get public guidance on ways to use $22.8 million from the American Rescue Plan Act.

The survey is supposed to take about five minutes to complete. It seeks advice on how to improve housing, child care, and sustainability.

County administrator Steve O’Malley was on La Crosse Talk PM last week and discussed spending priorities.

Several people commenting on social media have responded by saying the county needs better roads.

Last month, the County Board set priorities for spending federal dollars for economic relief from the pandemic. Board members listed sustainability projects as their top priority for the money, followed by affordable housing.
