You can still enjoy the opening “Moon Tunes” concert of the season in La Crosse, even if you can’t get to Riverside Park.

Moon Tunes organizer Terry Bauer is getting ready for opening night at the bandshell on June 3rd, a week from Thursday, planning to live-stream video of the Bill Miller concert on AroundRiverCity.com, with audio also on Classic Hits 94.7

Bauer is hoping to live-stream more of the Thursday summer concerts, depending on how the first one goes.

The entire Moon Tunes season was cancelled last year because of COVID-19, but this year’s schedule is roughly the same as the one which was planned for 2020.

At that June 3rd concert, the new wooden bandshell built during the last two years will be given officially by Moon Tunes to the city of La Crosse.
