Independence man arrested for armed robbery at Arcadia gas station Sunday

ARCADIA, Wis . — A 34-year-old was arrested for armed robbery Sunday afternoon in Arcadia.

A panic alarm came in at 1:19 p.m. from the Express Mart gas station on Main Street and moments later a 911 call.

The caller said a man — Michael William Andre of Independence, Wis. — had a gun on the clerk and demanded money, according to a report from the Arcadia Police Department.

The clerk gave him $100 and he took off in his vehicle.

He was pulled over by the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department without incident

Deputies did find the “items” used in the armed robbery.
