La Crosse County added 12 COVID-19 cases Sunday, the lowest total since there were eight cases on Sept. 28.

Data in Wisconsin is typically lower on Sundays. The state reported 671 cases, 61 hospitalizations and two deaths.

La Crosse is averaging 25.3 cases a day over the past seven days. A week ago, that average was 64 — which includes one day with 144 cases. Without that day, the average is 51, so La Crosse still has half the cases a day this week versus last.

Minnesota numbers Sunday were right in line with the averages the past week. The state is averaging 919.6 cases, 62.4 hospitalizations and 14.3 deaths a day.

Wisconsin is averaging 1058.7 cases, 83.9 hospitalizations and 22.6 deaths a day the past week.
