The Tomah Police Department arrested a 39-year-old resident after investigating allegations that included sexual assault of a child.

Police arrested Isaiah S. Pesce and transported him to the Monroe County jail. Listed charges include 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child and Incest with Child on Dec. 13.

Appearing in court through Zoom Wednesday, Judge Todd Ziegler ordered a $1,000 cash bond with conditions. Pesce cannot make contact with the 14-year-old, the child’s residence, or school. He cannot have unsupervised contact with anyone under 18.

The court record said Pesce must be equipped with a GPS device through the bond monitoring program with an exclusion zone at his residence and Tomah High School/Tomah Middle School. He has a curfew from 9:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. except for work, treatment, or testing if approved ahead of time.

During the investigation, officers learned Pesce is employed by the Tomah Area School District as a bus driver. The Tomah Police Department said the allegations that resulted in his arrest were not related to or connected with his employment with the Tomah School District.

Pesce will make his initial appearance Jan. 6 at 1:00 p.m.
