Less than 24 hours before the GOP convention begins, the the Republican National Committee released, Sunday, a “Resolution Regarding the Republican Party Platform.”

The one-page long resolution — less than half the length of the 2020 Democratic Party platform’s table of contents — explains the GOP’s decision not to draft a new party platform this year, instead announcing it “will continue to enthusiastically support the President’s America-first agenda.”

The GOP blames the pandemic for being unable to have a full meeting of the convention’s platform committee.

The Democratic Party Platform is 91 pages long.

The GOP document mentions the Obama(-Biden) Administration twice, including its criticism of the media because it has “outrageously misrepresented the implications of the RNC not adopting a new platform in 2020 and continues to engage in misleading advocacy for the failed policies of the Obama-Biden Administration.”

The DNC’s platform mentions the Trump Administration 54 times

Meanwhile, the Trump campaign released its “2nd Term Agenda” on Sunday, as well.

It’s 49 bullet points of goals, without getting bogged down in any details, including:

• Create 10 Million New Jobs in 10 Months
• Develop a Vaccine by the End of 2020
• Return to Normal in 2021
• Launch Space Force, Establish Permanent Manned Presence on The Moon and Send the First Manned Mission to Mars
• Teach American Exceptionalism
• Wipe Out Global Terrorists Who Threaten to Harm Americans
• Stop Endless Wars and Bring Our Troops Home
• Require New Immigrants to Be Able to Support Themselves Financially
