UPDATE: Name released in fatal UTV rollover

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said 42-year-old Trevor J. Zeller was killed in at U.T.V. crash over the weekend.  

An investigation into the crash found that Zeller had been doing work on the U.T.V. throughout the day and was out testing it on private property when the U.T.V. overturned while negotiating a curve.  Zeller was pronounced dead on the scene.  


Monroe County dispatch received a 911 call Saturday night around 10:00 p.m. for a UTV rollover in the Township of Little Falls.

It happened on private property off of Aaron Ave.  Cataract First Responders arrived on scene and pronounced the lone occupant deceased from the crash.  Alcohol was not believed to be a factor. 

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Cataract First Responders, Sparta Area Ambulance, Sparta Fire Department, and Gunderson Air Rescue Service responded. 

The name of the driver is being withheld pending notification of family members.
