Winona now has double the cases of La Crosse County, which remains at 26 for sixth day

For the sixth consecutive day, La Crosse County has no new COVID-19 cases.

The total remains at 26, with 23 recovered. One person still in the hospital.

Winona County had three more cases today, after there were 21 confirmed yesterday. Winona has a total of 54 cases of the virus and six deaths.

Statewide, the death toll from the virus in Wisconsin grew by 15 today, for a 197 total.

Wisconsin confirmed 154 more cases, including 30 more hospitalizations, from the virus, bringing the statewide total to 3,875 — 1,121 in the hospital.

Milwaukee County has taken on the brunt of that, with four more deaths today, as its death toll is now triple digits at 103. Milwaukee added 55 more cases and is now at 2,006.

In the Coulee Region, Houston and Trempealeau counties still have just one case, while Vernon County remains at zero confirmed.

In Minnesota, the state added another seven deaths, 103 positive tests and 30 hospitalizations — 10 in the ICU. The totals in the state are now 94 deaths, 1,912 confirmed cases, 475 hospitalizations with 275 still in the hospital and 103 still in ICU.

Hennapin County, where Minneapolis is located, has 651 cases and 46 deaths. Ramsey County, where St. Paul is, has 164 cases and seven deaths.

Across the U.S., which has the most deaths and cases of any country, there have been 2,032 more deaths today bringing that toll to 34,191 from the 674,829 confirmed cases — up 26,826 from the day before.

Worldwide, there are 2.2 million cases — 546,324 recovered — and 144,324 deaths.
