Trempealeau County Lions Clubs offer “Take-Out Challenge” for restaurant customers

If restaurants in Trempealeau County keep operating for the next few weeks, they could get orders from plenty of customers hoping to win a local contest.

The “Take-Out Challenge” by Lions Clubs in Galesville, Ettrick, and Trempealeau offers $100 prizes to people who order take-out from different restaurants, and who submit the receipts for a drawing.

Galesville Lions Club president Tyler Truax says the idea came from club members, after restaurant shutdowns forced them to call off meetings.

Truax says receipts from a minimum of five different restaurants collected from participating restaurants before April 9th would qualify contestants for the cash drawings, scheduled for April 10th.

The receipts can be mailed to the Galesville Lions Club, Box 492, Galesville (54630), or dropped off at locations of the Bluff View Bank.
