Missing La Crosse woman found last week now misses court hearing

A two-month-long search for a missing La Crosse woman and her infant ended a week ago, when Tracy Cadogan and the child were found traveling in an SUV that was pulled over in Onalaska. 

Cadogan is now facing drug charges, because marijuana and pills were found in the vehicle. 

She failed to show for a court hearing in La Crosse on Friday, and the hearing was postponed for two weeks so she can find an attorney. 

The baby was thought to be ill, and has been turned over to the county for care.   

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk." He also writes the website "Triviazoids," which finds odd connections between events that happen on a certain date, and he writes and performs with the local comedy group Heart of La Crosse. Brad been featured on several national TV programs because of his memory skills.
