Man with connections to Tomah killed by U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force
A man wanted for multiple counts of sexual abuse of a minor was fatally shot in Alaska by the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force that was trying to take him into custody Monday.
The Tomah Police Department shared the story on social media and said the suspect, Daniel D. Jensen Jr., 59, had ties to the Tomah and Warrens, Wis. area.
The television station KTTU reported the incident happened around 9:51 Tuesday morning. Jensen was wanted in the Delta Junction area for an outstanding felony warrant for multiple counts of sexual abuse of a minor. Jensen was first charged in 2012. In 2015, a warrant was issued for his arrest after he failed to appear for a hearing.
