5th time OWI suspect arrested in La Crosse Co.

A driver from Trempealeau was asked by police if he was drunk. 

He replied ‘Probably, could be–probably yes.’ 

Ronnie Wagner had a blood alcohol level of .23 when he was stopped on Saturday in Holmen, after another driver saw Wagner swerving between lanes in a heavy rain. 

It’s at least the 5th drunk-driving arrest for the 61-year-old Wagner, convicted for the 4th time just last year in Trempealeau County. 

Wagner also admitted he didn’t have a license.  

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
