The turnout for Tuesday’s elections in La Crosse County should be much higher than was seen in the February primary.

On today’s ballot, there is a hotly contested race for an open seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, between Brian Hagedorn and Lisa Neubauer.

La Crosse County also has an advisory referendum on whether to find a nonpartisan method for drawing voting maps in Wisconsin.

At least two new La Crosse city council members will be elected today, as two incumbents are retiring this month.

Lastly, all but one of La Crosse County’s five circuit judges is up for re-election, though they’re all running unopposed.

City polls in La Crosse open at 7 a.m., and all the polling places around Wisconsin close at 8 p.m.

In the February election, the town of Campbell was the only area in the county that had anything on the ballot. Only 300 voters came out.
