Central still No. 2, Onalaska up a spot to seventh in final AP poll

As the WIAA boys basketball tournament gets underway tonight, the final AP poll was released.

Central (20-2), which has a first-round bye, remains the second-ranked team in Division 2. Moving up a spot to No. 7 is Onalaska (18-4), which also has a first-round bye.

Logan (8-14) opens the Division 2 regional hosting Sparta (11-11) at 7 p.m. tonight. The winner takes on Central on Friday.

On the other side of the regional the New Richmond-Tomah winner will take on Onalaska in the second round.

The AP Wisconsin prep basketball poll, as voted upon by a statewide panel of sports writers and broadcasters.
