La Crosse choking suspect accused of violating restraining order
A La Crosse man charged less than a month ago for a domestic fight has gone back to jail…for allegedly violating a restraining order.
Billy Atwell already was accused of trying to choke a woman, and of throwing a knife at her during a fight at her house in October.
The victim claims Atwell attempted to strangle her for about a minute, but he claims the woman hit him.
Atwell could appear in La Crosse County court today (Monday) on the new charge.
