Thanksgiving trend in La Crosse — cool and dry
Our streak of colder-than-usual weather in La Crosse is expected to continue through Thanksgiving Day, but we could be back to normal temps by Friday.

Forecasters say La Crosse received rain or snow on Thanksgiving Day only once in the last 24 years — three years ago (2015), when one-tenth of an inch of snow fell.
Records over the last 146 years in La Crosse show measurable snow covering the ground on the holiday only 23 percent of the time.
