A downtown La Crosse celebration this weekend.
The organization Downtown Mainstreet is convening the 23rd Historic Downtown Day on Saturday, followed by tours of downtown living spaces Sunday.
Downtown Mainstreet executive director Robin Moses says it’s a different population living in downtown La Crosse now than some might expect.
“People who live downtown are no longer, just, maybe college students up above some of hte buildings or transietn people coming and going,” Moses said.
Entertainment, free carriage rides and and Old Fashioned drink contest top the attractions for Historic Downtown Day.
