Onalaska man arrested naked and wandering UW-L campus, admits using meth

He was found wandering naked around the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Caleb Williams of Onalaska was found “stumbling around naked in the street,” near the student union around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday with nothing but a drawstring bag.

The 23-year-old told police he didn’t know where his clothes were but he knew he was in La Crosse.

He also admitted to using meth.

In the bag, police found needled that tested positive for the drug.

Williams is facing repeat charges of meth possession and lewd and lascivious behavior.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk."
