Across the city, the La Crosse Neighborhood Watch Groups will host National Night Out events Tuesday evening.

Between 5-8 p.m. in 12 locations in La Crosse, La Crosse police will be joining block parties to bolster community relations.

“To continue strengthening that bond between police and community members,” La Crosse officer Brooke Pataska said. “Any concerns or anything they have – positive or negative. Officers coming to these parties want to hear, want to know what we can do better, and how we can help each other out.”

This is the 20th annual National Night Out for La Crosse and 34th year of the event in the U.S.

Those attending can look forward to grill outs, games and other activities in the city’s 12 locations.
