Two suspects now arrested in La Crosse robbery

Victim called police after drug deal goes sour.

A second suspect in a local armed robbery has been arrested, a day after the first capture in the case. 

Both James Vinson and Chad Kowalke could appear in court today, for allegedly robbing a man who thought he was going to buy drugs.

According to the victim, Bradley Hayden of Necedah, he went with Kowalke to a house in north La Crosse on March 1st. 

Hayden thought they were going to get the marijuana, but police say Vinson struck Hayden in the back of the head with what could have been a baseball bat and demanded all his money.  

Kowalke took money from Hayden’s coat.

Hayden said he lost $450 in the drug deal gone bad and had to get staples in his head as part of the bat attack.
