Rouge One: A Star Wars Story opened in theaters everywhere Thursday night. 

You can watch in La Crosse today. Right now, in fact. Marcus Cinema in town has showtimes that started at 7 a.m. and go every half hour all day.

Lindsey Weix with Marcus Cinema in La Crosse expects people to be dressed in costumes – though maybe not at 7 a.m.

 Still, if you plan on going, plan ahead.

“We’ve had very strong ticket presales and we’re anticipating big crowds tonight and sellouts in some cases,” she said. “Definitely encouraging movie goers to get tickets in advance if possible.”

 

Last December, Star Wars: The Force Awakens raked in over $2 billion.

“It’s not the same degree of anticipation but it’s still definitely one of the most anticipated movies this year,” she said.
