Venison sandwiches at the drive-up window?

That’s what Arby’s is offering for a limited time at certain restaurants in the Midwest, during deer hunting season.

The roast beef franchise says it will sell a sandwich with thick-cut venison steak, crispy onions, and a berry sauce.

But, the La Crosse Arby’s will not be participating.

“We’re a brand that’s not afraid to take risks and, while the venison sandwich is probably the biggest stretch for us yet, it’s incredibly delicious and we can’t wait to get it in the hands of our guests,” Rob Lynch, Arby’s chief marketing office and brand president said in a statement.

The nearest Arby’s location to offer the venison will be in St. Louis Park, just outside Minneapolis and not until late next week. Only 17 restaurants will be adding venison to the menu.
