Weed and possibly meth found

A car towed in June from a gas station in La Crosse was searched Friday and drugs were located in the trunk.

A 2002 Oldsmobile was in the custody of Don’s Towing and Repair since June 24, and the registered owner never came to pick it up.

The vehicle then became the rightful property of the towing service. As they were searching, they found drug paraphernalia and marijuana.

The weed was found in a black bottle labeled Green Man Cannabis and measured at 11.7 grams.

Possible meth was also located. La Crosse police are trying to contact the owner.
