Kind will face Dem. Myron Buchholz, but no Republican on ballot

Republicans appear to have conceded Wisconsin’s Third Congressional District to Democrats.

According to state filings, the third district, held by Dem. Ron Kind for the last 20 years, is the only one with just one party on the ballot for the fall.

Kind faces a primary challenge from former history teacher, Myron Buchholz, but there is no Republican or any other party representative on the ballot.

Kind won an easy victory over Rep. Tony Kurtz in 2014 and hasn’t faced a serious challenge for the seat since the race against Dan Kapanke in 2010.
