DNR promoting trout fishing through new online mapping

Update shows streams and classifications throughout state

The Wisconsin DNR’s website wants to help you catch more trout.

A new online map that tells anglers the best place for trout and also allows them to gain info about local regulations.

The DNR may want to revamp the map again, however, as trout streams and roads are basically the same color. 

This update comes at a time when the DNR says 14 streams have upgraded classifications.
