Lang Drive down to two lanes

Weather caused emergency repair

Recent heavy rains in La Crosse have significantly added to the deterioration of Lang Drive.

Beginning at 8 a.m. today, the outside lanes, north and south bound, between La Crosse Street and Monitor Street will be closed for emergency repair.

The inside lanes will remain open, though speed may be restricted. The closure will remain in effect until further notice.

The city suggests taking an alternate route, such as Rose Street, Copeland Avenue, Monitor Street or State Highway 16.
