Banks net income increased nearly $300 million in 2015

Assets increased by $4 billion

A new report from the FDIC shows 2015 was a very good year for bankers in Wisconsin.

Banks posted a net income of well over a billion dollars, which was an increase of nearly $300 million from 2014. 

Lending is up. Deposits are up.

Total assets reported by banks at the end of the year are at $107 billion – $4 billion more than the year before.

The report says Associated Bank was the most profitable in Wisconsin.
