Woman gives birth on side of highway
Daughter was born at 4:21 on Hwy. 71
A Norwalk, Wis., woman in labor didn’t quite make it to the hospital. Turns out, she didn’t need to, either.
On the way to the hospital, the woman went into labor and her husband had to pull the car over. Three minutes after the EMS and police arrived, she had given birth right there, on Highway 71.
Her daughter was born at 4:21 a.m. Sunday morning. The family then finally made it to the hospital, everyone in stable condition.
