Statewide, sales jumped 17%

There are very few places in Wisconsin where you won’t find some significant growth in home sales for July.

Statewide, July sales jumped about 17 percent with sale prices also increasing by several percentage points.

In La Crosse County, sales for the month were up even more; nearly 20 percent, though the median price did slide a little, down to around $150,000.

For the year so far, home sales in La Crosse County have gone up by about 14 percent. The state Realtors say sales across Wisconsin are better than they have been since before the recession that ended in 2009.
