UW-L Ready For World Series

The UW-La Crosse baseball team takes the field tonight in its first-ever trip to the Division Three College World Series. The Eagles take on the Salisbury Sea Gulls out of Maryland at 7:45 p.m. at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton. The Sea Gulls boast one of the best offenses in the nation … leading the nation in batting average and on-base percentage, while they are second overall in runs scored. And, while it’s the first trip to the series for UW-L, Salisbury was there last season.
