Cross Talks Cuts At UW-L

You’ve heard about a proposed 300-million dollar budget cut looming over the University of Wisconsin budget.  The system president says the total amount of those cuts is really closer to 350-million.  Ray Cross says it’s not as easy to make up for large spending cuts any more, and some reductions which are made will be noticed by the public:

Cross told students and staff members at U-W-L last week that the system has 25-thousand more students now than at the start of the century…but the amount of state funding going to the U has gone down.
