Look Out For Green Streets

More transportation planning going on in La Crosse.  The latest will involve biking and walking.  The city is contracting with a consultant firm to identify possible improvements for a couple of streets to make both more walkable and bikable; turning them into so-called ‘greenways.’  A public workshop will be held by the city next week at English Lutheran church to collect input on the greenway scheme.  King street and 17th street are the two that have been identified as potential routes for more greening.
