Center Brings In Less Cash

A good year for the La Crosse Center…but not as good as the year before.

The year-end financial report shows that the civic center came out 146-thousand dollars in the black last year.  But that’s about 40-thousand dollars less than the center made in 2013.  Center manager Art Fahey says he’s hoping to book more concerts to balance the conventions that bring in much of the revenue throughout the year.  The building will host 23 conventions and large meetings in 2015.
